Chase & Status and Kappa
Hammersmith FC and Chase & Status are joining forces to unveil a collaboration encompassing an inspiring convergence of sports, music and fashion––brought together by One House Studio. The partnership will kick off with the launch of a limited edition kit, with authentic football streetwear brand, Kappa joining forces as the kit partner. Kappa's iconic Omini logo features a man and woman sitting back-to-back, in this instance reflecting Hammersmith FC's back-to-back league titles for both their men's and women's teams.

Set to launch at the start of the 2023 season this September, the collaboration arrives at a pivotal juncture for women's football, with the Lionesses having just reached the World Cup final after winning the Euros last year, and will continue for at least two full seasons over the next two years. The partnership represents a full circle moment as the 2023 Lionesses England team chose Chase & Status’ single 'Alive' to be one of the tracks playing in the stadium as they scored.

Hammersmith FC and Chase & Status will merge their identities on the Kappa jerseys and tracksuits of both men's and women's 1st and 2nd teams. This display of unity will extend to fans, who will have the opportunity to purchase the commemorative shirts. Throughout this two-year endeavour Chase & Status’ logo are to appear on the kit and tracksuits across four squads.

Chase & Status, deeply connected to Hammersmith in west London, hail from the area – Will, having grown up there, and Saul who is based nearby. They share a profound love for the beautiful game and the football community, viewing this partnership as a means to inspire a new wave of inclusive football culture. The remarkable ascent of Hammersmith FC, driven by founders Akin and Tommy, culminating in consecutive league titles and promotions for the men's and women's teams, adds a layer of pride and spirit to this collaboration.
Speaking on the partnership Will and Saul of Chase & Status share “This partnership is a way for us to be able to support a grassroots football club whose accomplishments have been huge in its short journey so far, in particular on the women’s side. Aside from being huge football fans on a personal level, we have a history as a band of collaborating with the sport in quite a few different ways. From launching the official England kit back in 2011, and appearing on Soccer AM to performing at matches & on broadcasts. We wanted to build a deeper connection with the game in a meaningful way, in particular, the Women's side - we both have young daughters, so it’s super important to us to be making sure we are empowering them by supporting inspirational females. As well as us having roots in west London, where Hammersmith FC are based, we’re inspired by not only their achievements so far, but also their club’s community-focused ethos, paired with their connection and passion for music.”

Our partnership covered a content series around the inexorable rise of our women’s team who won back-to-back league titles in their maiden season and second season after their founding, losing only one league game along the way.
